Why Instagram eats your line breaks
Instagram trims whitespace at the end of every line and collapses consecutive newlines before saving. A bio you carefully laid out in four lines comes back as one paragraph, and the blank line you put between two caption paragraphs disappears.
The workaround is to make the blank line not blank. This tool inserts U+2800, the Braille pattern blank — a character with no visible glyph that Instagram treats as content rather than whitespace, so the line survives.
Using it without breaking anything
Copy the output and paste it into Edit Profile rather than retyping it — retyping loses the invisible characters. If the paste does not take on mobile, paste it into a note first, copy from there, and try again; some Android keyboards mangle a direct paste.
The invisible characters do count towards Instagram's 150-character bio limit, so a heavily spaced bio has less room for words. And because they are real characters, a screen reader may pause on them.
