Why social card previews matter
Open Graph tags control the card
When someone shares your URL, platforms read og:title, og:description, and og:image meta tags to build the preview card. If these are missing or wrong, your link will look plain or broken — hurting click-through rates.
Image dimensions matter per platform
Use 1200×630px for the best results across Facebook, LinkedIn, and X. Twitter summary_large_image cards need at least 300×157px. Images below the minimum will be ignored and the card will have no image.
