# UTM Link Builder

> Builds UTM-tagged campaign URLs with source, medium, campaign, term and content parameters.

**Why it matters.** Without UTM tags, traffic from Instagram, TikTok and email all lands in analytics as Direct, and you cannot tell what worked.

**The conventions that prevent a mess.** Lowercase everything — utm_source=Google and utm_source=google are counted as two sources. Use underscores, not spaces. Never put UTM parameters on internal links; it restarts the session and destroys attribution.
