# Follower Growth Rate Calculator

> Calculates follower growth rate between two counts and projects forward at the current pace.

**Rate, not raw adds.** A thousand new followers means something different at 5,000 than at 500,000. Growth rate normalises for that.

**Projection is a straight line, and growth is not.** The forward projection assumes the current rate holds. Treat it as a sanity check on targets, not a forecast.
