# How to Run a Week of Social Media From Claude: Plan, Draft, Design and Schedule in One Chat (6 Prompts)

> A weekly routine for Claude and Autoadify: one Monday conversation that reviews last week, plans the next, drafts every post with images, and leaves it all waiting for your approval. Works in claude.ai, the desktop app and Cowork.

## Quick Answer

**Add Autoadify to Claude (Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → `https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp` → Connect), then spend one Monday conversation on the week: review what went out, plan five posts, draft them with images as Autoadify drafts, and schedule the ones you approve. Claude never needs your passwords or an API key.**

- **2 min** — One-time setup
- **6** — Prompts per week
- **~10** — Credits for 2 images on Nano Banana 2
- **5** — Posts drafted and waiting

### What you need

- **Claude** on claude.ai, desktop, mobile or Cowork
- **Autoadify** Pro or above
- Your social accounts connected in Autoadify

A content calendar fails in the middle of the week, not at the start. You plan on Monday, a meeting eats Tuesday, and Thursday's post never gets written. The fix is to make Monday's plan finished work: every post drafted, illustrated and waiting, so the rest of the week is just approving.

## 1\. Connect Autoadify to Claude

1. In Claude, open **Settings → Connectors** and click **Add custom connector**.
2. Name it Autoadify and paste `https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp`.
3. Click **Connect**, sign in to Autoadify and approve.
4. In a chat, turn Autoadify on from the **+** menu → **Connectors**.

On Claude Team or Enterprise, an owner adds the connector under Organization settings first. Details: [Autoadify in Claude](/mcp/claude), and Anthropic's guide to [custom connectors](https://support.claude.com/en/articles/11175166-about-custom-connectors-remote-mcp).

## 2\. Review last week (prompt 1)

> **Prompt 1.** List everything that was scheduled or published last week across my Autoadify accounts. Which posts went out, which failed and why, and is anything still waiting?

This calls `list_posts` and `get_post`: each post's status per platform, the live link, and the exact error if something failed, such as an account that needs reconnecting. Fix those first, or this week's posts fail the same way.

## 3\. Plan the week (prompt 2)

> **Prompt 2.** Plan 5 posts for this week. Our themes rotate: Monday tip, Wednesday customer story, Friday product. This week's news: \[what's happening\]. For each post give the platform mix, the hook, and the best time. Don't write them yet.

Keep planning and writing in separate turns. A plan is cheap to change; five finished posts aren't. Recurring themes work best as a series; see [why episodic content series work](/blog/episodic-content-series-social-media-2026).

## 4\. Draft everything (prompts 3–4)

> **Prompt 3.** Check my connected channels and their rules, then write all 5 posts. Use our voice: short sentences, no exclamation marks, one emoji at most. Different text per platform where it helps.

> **Prompt 4.** Make an image for the Wednesday and Friday posts (4:5 for Instagram, 1:1 elsewhere), tell me the credit cost first, then save all 5 as drafts in Autoadify at the planned times.

Images come from `generate_image` and land in your media library; the drafts come from `create_post` with `draft: true`, so nothing is published. They wait on the Posts page in Autoadify with the suggested times.

## 5\. Approve and schedule (prompts 5–6)

> **Prompt 5.** Show me the five drafts as a table: day, platforms, first line, image yes/no.

> **Prompt 6.** Schedule Monday and Wednesday as planned. Move Friday to Thursday 5pm and rewrite its hook to lead with the price. Leave the rest as drafts.

You can also approve in Autoadify itself: open the Posts page, read each draft, and schedule it there. Both ways end in the same calendar. To keep the drafts from all sounding alike, see [why AI content sounds the same](/blog/why-ai-content-sounds-the-same-2026).

## Make it a habit with Cowork

The same connector works in Claude Cowork, which suits a routine like this: give it the Monday brief and let it work through review, planning and drafting while you do something else. Ask it to stop at drafts so the approval stays yours.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Does Claude post without asking me?

Only if you approved the Publish permission and ask it to schedule. Ask for drafts and nothing goes out until you schedule it. Claude also asks before running tools that change something.

### Does it work on the free Claude plan?

Free Claude accounts can add one custom connector. On the Autoadify side, MCP access is on Pro and above.

### Can Claude see last week's results?

It sees each post's status, live link and errors. For reach and engagement, use the Analytics page in Autoadify.

## The Bottom Line

Make Monday's plan finished work. One Claude conversation reviews last week, drafts this week with images, and hands you a list to approve. The rest of the week, you just click schedule.
