# How to Build an AI Marketing Team in ChatGPT: Researcher, Copywriter, Designer and Publisher (7 Prompts + Autoadify Setup)

> One ChatGPT chat can play four roles in a launch: research the angle, write the posts for each platform, make the images, and schedule everything to your real accounts. Here is the setup, the seven prompts in order, and where to keep a human in the loop.

## Quick Answer

**Connect Autoadify to ChatGPT as a custom connector (Developer mode → add `https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp` → sign in), then run the launch in four roles: researcher, copywriter, designer, publisher. ChatGPT researches with web search, writes per-platform copy, generates the images through Autoadify, and schedules the posts to your connected accounts. Ask for drafts first and nothing goes public until you've read it.**

- **2 min** — One-time setup
- **7** — Prompts, in order
- **~35** — Credits for 7 images on Nano Banana 2
- **0** — Posts published before you approve them

### What you need

- **ChatGPT** Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise, with Developer mode
- **Autoadify** Pro or above, for MCP access
- Your social accounts connected in Autoadify

Most "AI marketing team" setups are four tools glued together: a chat for ideas, a doc for copy, an image app, and a scheduler you paste into. The glue is where the time goes. With Autoadify connected, ChatGPT can do the last two jobs itself, so the whole team lives in one conversation.

| Role | What ChatGPT does | Autoadify tool it uses |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Researcher | Finds the angle, the audience's words, what competitors said | — (ChatGPT's own web search) |
| Copywriter | Writes one message, adapted per platform and length limit | `list_channels` for each platform's rules |
| Designer | Makes an image per post in the right aspect ratio | `list_ai_models`, `generate_image` |
| Publisher | Saves drafts or schedules to your real accounts | `create_post`, `list_posts`, `update_post` |

## 1\. Connect Autoadify to ChatGPT (2 minutes)

You need ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise, and an Autoadify plan with MCP access (Pro and above).

1. In ChatGPT, open **Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced** and turn on **Developer mode**.
2. Add a custom MCP server: name it Autoadify, paste `https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp`, and choose **OAuth**.
3. Sign in to Autoadify and approve **Read**, **Generate** and **Publish**.
4. In a new chat, click **\+ → Developer mode** and switch Autoadify on.

## 2\. The researcher (prompts 1–2)

> **Prompt 1.** We're launching \[product\] on \[date\] for \[audience\]. Search the web for how people describe the problem it solves: forum threads, reviews, competitor pages. Give me the 5 phrases they actually use, and 3 angles nobody in our space is leading with.

> **Prompt 2.** Pick the strongest angle and write a one-paragraph message brief: the claim, the proof, who it's for, and the one thing we should never say. This brief is what every post has to follow.

The brief matters more than any single post. It is the thing you check later drafts against, and it stops seven posts from drifting into seven different messages.

## 3\. The copywriter (prompts 3–4)

> **Prompt 3.** Check which channels I have connected in Autoadify and what each one requires. Then write the launch post for each one from the brief: full version for LinkedIn, under 280 characters for X, a hook-first caption for Instagram, and a conversational version for Threads.

This calls `list_channels`, which returns each account and its rules: Instagram needs an image or video, X caps characters, Reddit needs a subreddit. Writing against the real rules is what stops the "why did this fail" moment later.

> **Prompt 4.** Now write two follow-ups for the week after launch: a customer-problem post on day 3 and a behind-the-scenes post on day 6. Same brief, different job.

## 4\. The designer (prompt 5)

> **Prompt 5.** List the image models and what they cost. Then make one image per post: 4:5 for Instagram, 1:1 for LinkedIn and X. Use \[style\]. Tell me the total credits before you start.

`list_ai_models` returns each model's cost and your credit balance, so ChatGPT can quote the cost first. Nano Banana 2 (5 credits) is a good all-rounder for product shots; GPT Image 2 (4 credits) follows detailed prompts and handles text in the image; Recraft V4.1 Flash (1 credit) is the cheap option for flat graphics; see [the best AI image generators for social media](/blog/best-ai-image-generators-social-media-2026) for how they compare. Each image lands in your Autoadify media library, and a failed one is refunded.

## 5\. The publisher (prompts 6–7)

> **Prompt 6.** Save all of these as drafts in Autoadify with the images attached and suggested times: launch day 9am for LinkedIn and X, 12pm for Instagram and Threads, then the two follow-ups. Show me the list when you're done.

Drafts appear on the Posts page in Autoadify. Nothing is published, and you can read, edit and schedule them there, or come back to the chat.

> **Prompt 7.** I've approved the LinkedIn and X drafts. Schedule those two for their suggested times, shorten the Instagram caption by a third, and leave the rest as drafts.

From here the posts run on Autoadify's scheduler. A day after launch, ask "did yesterday's posts go out?" and ChatGPT reads each post's status, live link and any error.

## Where to keep a human

- **Approve the brief, not just the posts.** If the brief is wrong, every post is.
- **Drafts by default.** Say "drafts" in the prompt until you trust the flow. ChatGPT also asks before running a tool that changes something.
- **Watch the credits.** Ask for the total before generating; images spend your Autoadify credits.
- **Permissions.** Approve the connection without Publish and ChatGPT can prepare everything but schedule nothing.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Can ChatGPT post to Instagram and LinkedIn directly?

Not on its own. Connected to Autoadify, it can schedule or publish to the accounts you've connected in Autoadify, including Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest and Reddit.

### Do I need an API key?

No. ChatGPT signs in to Autoadify with OAuth when you add the connector. API keys are only for your own code.

### Which ChatGPT plan do I need?

Custom connectors need Developer mode, which is on Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise. On Business and Enterprise an admin may need to allow it.

## The Bottom Line

The four-role team isn't four tools anymore. Keep the brief human, let ChatGPT do the research, writing, images and scheduling, and review it all as drafts before anything goes live. Setup for every assistant is on the [MCP server page](/mcp).
